Terms of Service

LEGAL TODO: Counsel must verify (a) the licensed-state list matches our actual gaming-commission filings; (b) the dispute clause complies with FINRA / state-AG guidance for the cohort of US skill-game operators; (c) age-of-majority language matches each licensed jurisdiction's rules.

These Terms govern your use of thrust.com (“thrust.”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or wagering on the platform you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in a jurisdiction where real-money skill gaming is permitted. We verify your jurisdiction at sign-in and at every wager via IP geolocation; using a VPN to circumvent geo restrictions is a Material Breach (§9).

LEGAL TODO: Cross-check with counsel: which US states + which non-US jurisdictions are eligible at launch? Skill-game vs game-of-chance classification differs by state — Tower Stack is designed as a skill game but the legal classification is the operator's burden, not the engineering team's.

2. Account creation + identity

Account creation runs through Magic.link (email or social sign-in). We do not collect government-issued ID at sign-up. Anti-fraud relies on velocity limits, sanctions screening, and wallet-attribution analytics rather than per-user identity proofs. By signing up you confirm the email you provide is yours.

3. Deposits + withdrawals

Deposits are denominated in USDC and processed via Magic's fiat-to-USDC on-ramp. Withdrawals are sent to an Ethereum Virtual Machine address you provide. The platform applies an OFAC SDN screen on every withdrawal destination address; a match halts the withdrawal pending operator review (§7).

All deposits over $1,000 in a single transaction or $5,000 in a 24-hour aggregate are flagged for AML review before they credit your spendable balance. Cleared deposits typically credit within minutes; flagged deposits credit after operator review (target SLA: 24 hours).

4. Game rules + outcomes

Match outcomes are determined by the server based on the deterministic event journal that records every player input. The server commits a pre-match random salt before any input is accepted; the salt is revealed in the sealed match journal for post-match audit. You may request the journal of any match you participated in.

5. Settlement + claim

Match winnings credit immediately to your platform balance. On-chain claim (moving USDC from the platform Escrow contract to your Ethereum address) follows a withdrawal request through the operator-confirm flow.

6. Disputes

If you believe a match outcome was incorrect, contact support within 7 days of settlement with the match ID. We will replay the event journal against the published salt and respond within 14 days.

LEGAL TODO: Add binding-arbitration clause + waiver-of-class-action language reviewed by counsel for each licensed jurisdiction.

7. AML + sanctions

We screen withdrawal destinations against the OFAC SDN list and apply velocity-based AML flags on deposits and withdrawals. If your activity is flagged, your deposit or withdrawal will pause pending operator review. Repeated flags or a sanctions hit may result in account closure (§9).

8. Responsible gaming

Skill-game wagering involves risk of financial loss. We provide self-exclusion + deposit-limit tools at /responsible-gaming. Help is also available from the National Council on Problem Gambling: 1-800-GAMBLER.

9. Account closure

We may close your account for: violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or coordinated griefing, an unresolved AML review, or a request from law enforcement. On closure we return your unwagered platform balance to your verified on-ramp wallet within 30 days, less any flagged amounts retained pending compliance review.

10. No warranty + limit of liability

LEGAL TODO: Counsel writes this section. Standard SaaS disclaimer templates do NOT cover real-money gaming; we need gambling-specific language about liability for technical failures during a paid match.

11. Governing law

LEGAL TODO: Counsel selects governing-law jurisdiction; typically Delaware for US-incorporated operators, but real-money gaming may pin a specific state.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the home page and via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
